The territory of the Magdalen Islands, located in the heart of Golf Saint-Laurent, is spread out over a hundred kilometres of coastline. It is an extraordinary testing ground for applied research projects on the circular economy and on initiatives that enable development under climate change.

The geography of the Magdalen Islands’ network of stakeholders facilitates CERMIM’s projects. The island context allows for the mobilization of various socio-economic partners present when a project that is beneficial to the Islands community is proposed by CERMIM. Consultation is at the heart of this island know-how, which nourishes CERMIM’s projects.
