Marc-Olivier Massé

A geographer specializing in the management of island and coastal environments, Marc-Olivier graduated from the Université du Québec à Rimouski. He also studied business administration at Université Laval. With over 5 years’ experience in international exports, he joined the CERMIM management team in 2016. Originally from the Magdalen Islands, he has always been passionate about the development of island and coastal communities. As such, he is a fervent advocate of the ability of remote and isolated regions to play an important role in the economic development of our society and to meet the challenges of the 21^st century. Recognized for his great communication skills, his ability to unite local forces and his sense of strategic management, he is one of the main architects of CERMIM’s major development in the field of applied research.
